Mickey Diamond is an educator, writer, father and speaker. In 2016 he delivered a TEDx talk, “Tell Me a Story,” wherein he outlined his need to seek and tell stories both within and beyond the classroom. He writes fiction and essay, primarily dealing with identity, grief, coming-of-age, class, and masculinity. His book reviews begin with studies of craft elements before considering the thematic or readerly merits of the text.
