Mickey Diamond is an educator, writer, father and speaker. In 2016 he delivered a TEDx talk, “Tell Me a Story,” wherein he outlined his need to seek and tell stories both within and beyond the classroom. He writes fiction and essay, primarily dealing with identity, grief, coming-of-age, class, and masculinity. His book reviews begin with studies of craft elements before considering the thematic or readerly merits of the text. He has studied creative writing at Goddard College and Fairleigh Dickinson University, where he holds an MA in Creative Writing for Educators.
